This lovely little chest of drawers has a deep wood grain which is complimented by the rich tone of the paint.
I have lightly distressed some of the edges to make the drawers pop and to give “lived in” charm.
The glorious original handles have been retained and refurbished giving them an antique gold appearance.
The drawers have been lined in a complimentary Art Nouveau style paper which I felt picked up beautifully in the shape and style of the handles and added a hidden surprise to the drawers. .
