A rare find in the UK is this magnificent American Art Deco Waterfall dressing table/vanity which has been given an extensive restoration/refinish.

Produced by the United Furniture Corporation in Lexington North Carolina in the 1930s and recently imported from Washington D.C.

It features a magestic main mirror and ample storage with 7 drawers. American Walnut veneer to the Waterfall tops, new Zebrawood with a Maple marquetry inlaid to replicate the original design which was badly damaged. It was also missing a drawer pull which we luckily located an exact match in the USA and had it shipped over.

Part painted in Coal Black with an Ebony stain and additional top coat for added durability. A hard wax oil has been used to finish the remaining grain.

A truly spectacular piece of furniture and one of a kind in the UK.

As with all vintage furniture please expect a level of age related wear and tear. There is wear to the silver backing of the main mirror which does not impact its use but just shows its history. The image shown on the mirror was used for sales purposes, images of the detailing on the mirror plus the mentioned wear will be shown upon request. If the mirror wear is an issue we can have a new mirror fitted.

My new table arrived from PinkDotUpcycling at Upcite and omg I'm in love! I so miss being able to do this kind of thing myself, but cannot fault the work done to bring this table back to life and just look how stunning my kraken's bride is!! . Off to follow the FB groups now to see what other unique pretties I can find! Technically a lamp table, but us three being shorties means it will work just fine for crafting, science experiments etc. . . Only opened up to protect the artwork and a table cloth!.
